History & Mission

The Team Leadership Center, Inc. is a family owned and operated company which is housed in a turn-of-the-century dairy barn. In 1994, Tim Pflieger returned to the property he was raised, kicked out the cows and with the help of his family and friends renovated the building and surrounding pasture into the adventure center TLC is today.  In its first year of operation, TLC provided programs to 43 clients from Northeastern Wisconsin.  Today TLC is celebrating its 14th season and annually provides over 300 programs in the continental United States and Canada.

The center includes a rock climbing gym constructed around a wooden king silo, indoor high ropes challenge elements, 15’ foot initiative wall, multi-use hayloft and conference room. Located in the adjoining pastureland is the High and Low Ropes Challenge Course which features a 250’ zipline, 30’ pamper pole, and a 30’ outdoor climbing tower!

The Team Leadership Center also provides adventures on Door County’s many bodies of water.  Whether you prefer Canoeing or Sea Kayaking, TLC’s certified team provides instruction and tours for any level of paddler.

In addition to the Team Leadership Center being available for your team building and leadership adventures you may also reserve the building and grounds to host your fundraising events, company picnics, family reunions, birthday parties and more!!
