Team Leadership Center

For the past 15 seasons the Team Leadership Center has provided coastal sea kayaking tours, workshops and trips through it’s Kayaking Adventures Door County. Now we offer a full outfitting and guide service along with instruction for all levels of paddlers. We featuring kayak tours, instructional workshops and multi day trips which are available for individuals to enjoy! All programs are guided and instructed by ACA certified coastal sea kayak instructors. Join us for adventure and walk away empowered with memories to carry into the future! Kayaking Tours

Recreational tours are offered through out the paddling season. These are 3 hours in length and include kayaking gear, certified instruction and awesome Door County coastlines and sights.  To view the kayaking tour locations and times checkout out tours page. Cost is $50.

Coastal Sea Kayaking Instruction

Introductory Workshop

Learn it right the first time! Included in this workshop: equipment orientation, basic paddling strokes, trip planning, open water judgment and safety skills. This workshop is for novice paddlers and is a great introduction to the sport.

Coastal Sea Kayaking Adventure

For those paddlers wanting to learn more about the sport of coastal sea kayaking - this is your adventure! Learn paddle strokes. maneuvering, open water skills and assisted rescues. The instructor is ACA certified in Coastal Sea Kayak.

Private Lessons

Want to learn coastal sea kayaking from the experts? This is for you!
Custom designed to meet your needs and taught by an ACA Certified Instructor, not a guide.

Cost $40/hr, 2 hour minimum. Call for details.

Coastal Sea Kayak Crossings

Four hours.  Includes kayaking gear, certified instruction and an awesome Door County coastlines and sights.

Cost $70. Call for details.

Chambers Island Crossing

This sight-seeing tour features an openwater crossing from Tennison Bay boat launch in Peninsula State Park to Chambers Island and return to launch. Develop your open water paddling skills while we pass through the Strawberry Islands. Call for details.

Cana Island Crossing

This sight-seeing tour features open water paddling along the coastal shoreline to the lighthouse on Cana Island.  Discover the rich history of  this active light with a stop on the island for an optional tour of the house and grounds. Call for details.
